A couple of drops of cooking oil dropped in a cats ear will cure an infection. Clean with a q-tip.

A 1/4 c vinegar and 1/4 c. honey mixed and taken by the tablespoon will help a sore throat.

Be sure to double wrap your food pkgs. before they are placed in the freezer. Food cost too much to lose any. Be sure to check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking new meds, even over the counter.

When allergies start up take a tablespoon of honey that has been harvested locally. It will contain alot of the ingredients that will counteract your problem. When you get a burn, grab that honey, it will take the sting out immediately.

Got a clogged drain? Pour hydrogen peroxide down the drain. It works great!

Making gravy? Use milk instead of water for a creamier and rich taste.

Garlic: Clean skin off , slice it and put in a jar of water. Shake it every day, change water once a week. It’ll be handy cut up and won’t go bad.
Silver: to clean silver fast, rub with a damp cloth with baking soda.

Add a bit of cracker crumbs when frying chicken, it makes a nice crunchy breading.

For children who have chalk or washable paints: let them play outside on cement or pavement. When they are through hose the painted surface and the painted children. It keeps the mess out and kids love the hose.

If you get a splinter use a piece of scotch tape or super glue. It should come out when tape/glue is removed.

Don’t soak an iron pan after using it. Rinse it fast and and dry, then oil it to maintain the new finish.
To save money on power, bake two things at a time, save one and freeze it.
To flatten a cake, put a small plate on it right after you take it out of the oven.

For Lint-use scotch tape or masking tape on your hand to rub off.

For Silver-place it in a plastic bag.

For Leather-shine with a banana, wipe off with clean cloth.

For Jewelry allergies-coat with clear nail polish where it touches skin.

With flu season upon us we should all drink a great deal of liquid. Elderly especially should drink loads of liquids with electrolytes. We should not allow ourselves to become dehydrated because it leaves your health at risk. Don’t let the flu take over!

Use Bounce dryer sheets to wipe off glass to repel dust. Carry a Bounce sheet when outside to ward off mosquitoes. Rubbing alcohol makes a good cleaner in the bathroom for tile, fixtures and mirrors.
